Ashley has ten years of experience in the healthcare industry with expertise in healthcare innovations and technology, population health management, quality improvement, operations management, and practice transformation. She has in-depth knowledge and experience with risk-sharing arrangements, value-based contracts, and CMS advanced alternative payment models, including CPC+, the Medicare Shared Savings Program and Direct Contracting.

At the Queen’s Health System, Ashley served as the Manager of Practice Transformation & Quality Operations for the Queen’s Clinically Integrated Network with over 1,1100 provider and 75,000 covered lives where she led quality improvement for the Medicare Shared Savings Program ACO and Queen’s Akoakoa Physician Organization. 

Ashley worked for the National Kidney Foundation as the Senior Director of Community Health & Innovation where she managed contracts with three statewide IPAs and several employer groups for the delivery of care management services and practice transformation support. She has also worked in the Health IT sector for the Hawaii Health Information Exchange and as the Director of Nephrology Operations where she acted as the Compliance Officer and oversaw operations for 7 nephrology clinics serving 38,000 patients.

Ashley earned a BA in Communication & Minor in Computer Science/Technology Arts & Media from the University of Colorado. Additionally, she is an IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBBP). Ashley is certified in strategic grant writing from the University of Hawaii and has a Practice Transformation Professional Certificate from The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy.
