Angela Bailey
With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Angela has worked in a variety of healthcare leadership roles, including operations, strategy, and population and value based health. Most recently, Angela was the Director of Operations for the Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) at Mission Health Partners. She operationally led the organization in coordinating over 1,100 physicians in 9 payer contracts serving 95,000 patients in western North Carolina. Key to the successes of the Mission Health Partners CIN included aligning providers, community partners, and social determinants of health around the Pathways HUB model to coordinate care for individual patients while functioning under a population health approach.
Prior to joining Mission Health Partners, Angela worked as a consultant with other Mission Health entities including CarePartners, Mission Health’s post-acute facility and Mission Health Strategy and Business Development department. Before joining Mission Health, Angela was a consultant with Nouvista Health Strategy, leading the development and execution of CON applications within the state of North Carolina for radiology, oncology, surgical centers, and hospice services. Angela also spent a number of years at Mayo Clinic as the Director for Endoscopy Operations, where she supported over 90 Gastroenterologists and Colon and Rectal Surgeons and led and directed over 120 allied health staff.
Angela also has experience with equipment life-cycle management at Universal Hospital Services, strategic planning at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, and accreditation and support services at Duke University Medical Center. Angela received her bachelors degree from the University of Michigan and her Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
